Sports Pitch Design Build provide a design, planning and construction service for educational establishments and local authorities who are looking to install new sports pitches or upgrade existing pitches. Projects might include levelling and relaying existing pitches, bringing previously unusable land, for example, steep slopes or badly draining areas, into sporting use, extending existing pitches or installing artificial pitches and running tracks.

Feasibility Studies

We will review the site (including topographical surveys) and discuss options with you before producing an initial plan to understand the viability of any sporting opportunities and the available funding possibilities.

Pre-Application Planning

A well designed, concise and informative pre application submission is vital before any project is submitted to the relevant planning authorities.

Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)

Sports Pitch Design Build are fully qualified to undertake the co-ordination, writing and submission of these important assessments which can play a crucial role in any planning application relating to landscape design.  

Landscape Design Services

With in-house CGI imagery, Sports Pitch Design Build has the ability to visualise, illustrate and demonstrate potential changes to the landscape through 3D and verifiable photo imagery, which is now a pre-requisite of planning applications.

Landscape Visual Impact Assessments

An important part of any planning application relating to landscape design is ensuring that the correct landscape assessments (LVIA’s) have been satisfactorily carried out. SPDB is qualified to undertake and write up these assessments.

Planning Application and Management

Sports Pitch Design Build will provide planning advice and will liaison with the relevant local authority to produce detailed designs for planning submission, as well as site and project descriptions, Design and Access Statements, Planning Policy Statements, construction management plans, arboricultural surveys, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and the co-ordination and management of other consultants required by the proposal e.g. ecologists, traffic consultants, archaeologists, hydrologists etc.

Construction and Project Management

Sports Pitch Design Build has extensive experience of managing both modest and large scale construction projects and we will supervise all aspects of the construction including site visits, progress meetings, construction monitoring and payment approvals.
